Perancangan dan Perhitungan Biaya Pembuatan Runner Turbin Cross Flow
INTISARI
Turbin cros flow, salah satu jenis turbin paling banyak dipakai pada proyek mikrohidro di Indonesia. Komponen utama inlet, guide vane, runner, casing, bearing. Runner merupakan bagian utama terdiri disc, blade, poros. Tujuan perancangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui ukuran; pembuatan dan perhitungan biaya runner.
Perancangan dilakukan berdasarkan data lapangan. Data ini meliputi debit dan head dengan panjang dan jumlah sudu tetap. Menggunakan Microsoft Excell untuk semua perhitungan perancangan dan estimasi biaya pembuatan. Sensitivitas dalam perancangan ini adalah memvariasikan debit dan head, baik debit terhadap head maupun head terhadap debit.
Hasil perancangan menunjukkan dengan efisiensi 80%, turbin dapat membangkitkan daya sebesar 0,977 kW. Sedang biaya pembuatan runner diperkirakan mencapai Rp. 553.500,-

ABSTRACT
Cross flow turbine is one type of turbine mostly used in micro-hydro projects in Indonesia. The main components are inlet, guide vane, runner, casting, and bearing. Runner is primary part, consisting of disc, blade, and shaft. The purpose of the thesis is to design and manufacture a cross flow turbine runner as well as to estimate its cost.
The design was carried out on the basis of data available in the field. These data includes debit and head with the length and the number of blade were constant, respectively. Microsoft Excell has been used for all calculation in the design and estimating production cost. In order to get design sensitivity, debit and head were varied, either debit against head or head against debit.
The results of the design show that for the efficiency of 80 %, the turbine can deliver power of 0,977 kW. While the production cost of the runner was estimated to be Rp. 553.500,-
